~ Noah-Part II ~

When I was finishing up the editing process last night on little Noah's recent session, I found this...and just HAD to post it!

~ Sullivans ~

I was so happy to reconnect with our friends yesterday at the Arboretum...it's been way too long, but it's like we had never missed a day! We had such a great time catching up...and hope there are many more to come! What a beautiful and Godly family you are...

~ Noah ~

This morning I had a sweet Newborn Session with the handsome, feisty and wide awake Noah. At 3 weeks he's beautiful, strong and can't stand to be asleep in case he were to possibly miss all of the new things this world has to offer...reminds me of someone I know :)

{ Motherhood }

Mother's Day is less than a month away...sessions, certificates, specialty items (from past sessions) are all available. In the meantime, here are a few of my favorite reflections of wonderful and beautiful moms... Beginning with MY hero, friend, and beautiful mom...I couldn't ask for, pray for or wish for a better inspiration in my life. My mission in life is to one day become as admirable and graceful a mother as her ~ I love you with everything I am and appreciate that you are a part of my life!

{Marketing 101}

So, I got the website I've dreamed about for a year; the blog makeover is in the tweaking stages (I am so pumped by the bigger images!); and now I'm marketing! Here's the ad I've taken out in The Daily Light running the next 4 consecutive Sundays! I'm in the Lifestyle section...next to the babies and weddings. And I would like to send a huge thanks to Julia in the Daily Light marketing department for all of her wonderful and speedy assistance!

{Spot Hunting}

I also spent this weekend looking for new little treasure spots in Waxahachie for sessions, and I found these...and I should give the biggest shout to my mom; she is the super hero for finding the coolest RR bridge in the Hatch! More adventures in spot hunting coming soon...

{Adventures in Odessa}

Finally, I didn't get to post anything from our Easter break yet...so here's to the grandparents...:) It was a weekend of first for everyone...first aviation experience with a mom WAY more anxious than her 3 year old social butterfly @ the Jr. Flyer's Club...first (second and third) carousel ride with a nautious mom and dad taking turns ~ BLAH!...my first lightning image ~ not great, but harnassing lightning is ALOT harder than it looks! First rain, sand and golfball+ hail storm at the same time ~ should have take a cue from the weather chasers...headed the OPPOSITE direction! Our first self-decorated, beautiful Easter eggs, thanks to Mimi! And you can't tell it by the picture, but Em's first attempt at the Cindy Lauper look, complete with poofy skirt and striped leggings...Thanks to Pops & Mimi Perkins for a great visit full of adventure; and sorry about all of those hail dings! :)

{ Not Dead...Just trapped under something heavy...:) }

He he...one of my favorite phrases! No sessions last weekend, but I'm thankful for the recent activity of scheduling and traffic as evidence by my web calendar ~ I feel very blessed, especially in this economy! However, I have been editing like mad on past sessions...the recent Rone-Farmer Wedding is finally done...my sweet maternity and soon-to-be graduate sessions are in the hopper...and I'm looking forward to being caught up for a week or so before the rush begins again! It's been a wonderful challenge to work 2 jobs, commute to Bid D every day, edit/respond in a timely manner, keep up with mama and honey duties, preparing for a 3yr old's first avaiation experience this weekend and gearing up for the soon to arrive Princess Party in all its glory (see below)...not to mention all of the regular day-to-day chaos that is life! Exhausting but wonderful. I've even been off of Facebook for a month...total withdrawal!!! (Look for me @ Dana Vandivort Perkins) SO - I am also thankful for the upcoming Easter break and celebration with my in-laws in Odessa...there is NO better place for Mamma Jamma Lighting pictures than west Texas! Come on Steve McCaulley...I'm counting on you to be right this weekend! :) On a final but very important note...Celebrate this Easter by celebrating Eternal Life! He loves you so much that He stretched out His arms and died...just for you...and rose again...just for you!
